Government and Social Services

Our Specialized Government Interpreters Provide Language Assistance for Numerous Governmental Agencies and Programs, Allowing Them to Serve the Needs of People with Limited English Proficiency (“LEP”), as Required by Federal Law. Whether it’s a public forum, meeting, school function, election, referendum, or debate, our Government Interpreting Services provide LEP persons with the resources they need to assimilate into their new communities.
Our country continues to see an influx of immigrants and refugees, and frequently these individuals do not speak English as their primary language. They have a limited ability to read, speak, write, or understand English and are considered limited English proficient, or “LEP.”
Federal laws prohibit discrimination based on national origin, so these LEP individuals are often entitled to Government Interpreting Services to assist with government services, benefits, or encounters. Individual Agencies, States, and Local Governments may also have additional provisions of their own, requiring Government Interpreting Services for those who are LEP to ensure equal access to their government sponsored programs and activities.
Our specialized Government Interpreters provide this language assistance, bridging the gap between LEP individuals and various government agencies and programs.
Teachers, Corrections and Probation Officers, Police, and other First Responders are also frequently called upon to communicate directly with the public in languages other than English. Our Government Interpreters have the specific skills to facilitate accurate communication and understanding between both parties.
We also provide Government Document Translation Services for all Public Documents and Forms, including election materials.
